New SLC Bill procedure now underway

Lord Pentland and Professor Hector MacQueen appeared before the Delegated Powers and Law Reform Committee of the Scottish Parliament on 17 June to give evidence on the Legal Writings (Counterparts and Delivery) (Scotland) Bill.  This marks the start of Stage 1 of the Bill's progress, and the Official Report can be read here.

The DPLR Committee is seeking written evidence by 14 July, as is the Finance Committee, this time by 15 August.  We would encourage all those with an interest in the Bill to consider making a submission to each of these Committees over the coming weeks.
