60 Bills for 60 Years

To mark its 60th anniversary, the Scottish Law Commission has today launched a new social media campaign: “60 Bills for 60 Years”.

Over the course of 2025, the campaign will spotlight 60 different bills – one for each year of law reform – that have helped to transform the law of Scotland for the better. From the first ever SLC bill that resulted in legislative change to the most recent bill to be passed by the Scottish Parliament, we hope to show how the Commission has made a positive impact on the people and society of Scotland. You can follow the campaign on X or LinkedIn.
